DESCRIPTION:Te Kāhui Taiohi o Taranaki Iwi have set the first of three wānanga for 2019\, as a continuation of previous Taiohi wānanga which commenced back in December 2017 and throughout 2018\, to promote whānaungatanga and learnings\, within our iwi space. \nMā wai ēnei wānanga? Who are these wānanga for? \nThis is for Taranaki Iwi taiohi from the ages of 16 to 40 (but does not exclude) \nĀ whea? When?  \nKei hea? Where? \nThe first wānanga for 2019 is scheduled for the 6-7th July 2019 at Te Potaka Marae\, 5340 Main South Road\, Oāonui\, (south of Rāhotu) \nSaturday 6 July:  10:00am Powhiri to Sun 7 July 2019 1:30pm Poroaki \nTe Hōtaka The programme \nActivities will include historical Taranaki Iwi marae\, hapū and iwi kōrero\, learning Taranaki Iwi waiata\, karakia\, and various physical traditional activities that may include poi\, mau rākau\, mahi toi\, hakinakina and an offsite hīkoi (walk) \nHe whakautu? Is there a cost? \nThere is no cost to attend these wānanga\, other than the travel costs to and from the Marae.  We are thankful for the support of support TSB Community Trust\, and Te Korimako o Taranaki along with Te Kāhui o Taranaki Trust \nTe rēhita? Registration? \nAll attendees must complete a registration form for marae accommodation and catering purposes\, either online or by hardcopy.
