Te Kāhui o Taranaki Trust (the Trust) is the PSGE entity established to receive and manage the Treaty settlement assets of Taranaki Iwi.
It replaces the former Taranaki Iwi Trust. The trust is governed by seven trustees who are elected on a rotational basis.
There are two vacancies for this year’s elections;
Dennis Ngawhare must retire by rotation and is eligible to stand for re-election if he chooses and David Tamatea who passed away during this last term.
The Trust now invites nominations to fill these two positions.
Nominations must be made on an official nomination form and close at 5pm on Thursday 19 July 2018.
If more than two valid nominations are received, elections will be held by postal and internet voting with both voting periods closing at 5pm on Friday 14 September 2018.
Membership Registration
The Trust also takes this opportunity to invite all adults of Taranaki Iwi descent who have not already registered, to do so by completing a registration form.
