Kia ora e te iwi!
It’s almost that time of the year where we come together for Rā Tiripoua! A day of celebration to mark the Anniversary of our Taranaki Iwi settlement.
This year we will be celebrating over two-days from Saturday 20th February to Sunday 21st February, in Ōpunakē.
Day one begins at 9am and will be held at the Sandfords Events Centre on Tasman St. There will be Touch Rugby, Netball, Basketball, Tennis, Squash, Pāhake Games, as well as Tamariki, Rangatahi, & Pāhake Zones. There will also be lots of entertainment and stalls!
Day two also begins at 9am at the Sandfords Events Centre, and includes a Wānanga & Hīkoi.
