The recruitment process for the Kaitiaki Whenua Ranger role is now complete and we are pleased to announce that Wayne Capper has accepted the position and will start with the Department of Conservation in February 2019.
Our Chairperson Leanne Horo acknowledged that this is a joint venture between DOC and Te Kāhui o Taranaki as we look at opportunities to manage the DOC sites returned through settlement.
