To ensure the integrity of the ratification voting process, a specialist election management company, Electionz.com has been engaged as an Independent Returning Officer.

Electionz.com will conduct the ratification vote and receive, scrutinise and count all the votes that are cast by Ngā Iwi o Taranaki members.

The role of Independent Returning Officer includes:

• Acting as Independent Returning Officer to receive, collate and count votes;
• Cross-referencing voting papers with information held on the iwi membership registers maintained by the eight (8) iwi PSGEs of Ngā Iwi o Taranaki; and
• Submitting a written report on the outcome of the voting once the ratification process has concluded.

The internet voting site https://www.electionz.com/taranaki requires uri to have their pin and password which you will receive with your voting pack via post.
